Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy

Each of our items is carefully handmade by artisans and skilled craftsmen; therefore, variations in finish, grain, casting, symmetry and detailing are anticipated and expected. Being handmade using natural products, no two pieces will be exactly alike. 

Shipping Policy

We undertake delivery of products within the UAE (note that delivery to Abu Dhabi is only within city limits). Delivery charges are as follows:
  • To Dubai:
    • For purchases above AED 850 - FREE
    • For purchases below AED 850 - AED 100
  • To Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah:
    • For purchases above AED 3000 - FREE
    • For purchases between AED 1000 & 3000 - AED 200
    • For purchases below AED 850 - AED 300
  • Other Cities: Please contact us for delivery charges to other cities

You may also collect the pieces from our warehouse in Al Quoz, Dubai. 

Delivery

After you have made your purchase, we shall contact you within 24 hours on the phone number provided by you at checkout, to arrange a mutually convenient date & time of delivery. Delivery usually takes 24-48 hours. It is the customers' responsibility to make sure that they are available at the location at the agreed day & time. In the event that no one is available to accept the item(s) from your end, the item(s) will be returned to The Attic warehouse and the customer will bear additional charges of AED 110 for the second delivery attempt. Please note that any misinformation on the part of the customer regarding address and location that add delays in the delivery will not be the responsibility of The Attic.

    Returns

    We make all efforts to ensure that our customers are satisfied with and about their purchase. However, should you be unhappy with the purchase due to reasons such as the product not fitting into the aesthetics of your home or being defective or damaged, returns can be accepted provided the following terms and conditions are satisfied:

    • You must notify us by email to theatticdubai@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving the piece that you wish to return it 
    • The product must be returned to The Attic Warehouse in Al Quoz within 7 days from the date of purchase. 
    • The cost of return must be borne by the customer.
    • The product must be received back in the same condition that it was received by the customer, along with the original receipt. We cannot accept pieces back that have been damaged in transit.
    • Custom-made items cannot be returned. 
    • The Attic will not accept any responsibility for any claims of damages once items have been delivered and signed by the customer.
    • Normal "Wear & Tear" after usage / delivery will not be considered as "manufacturing defect". The "Characteristics", unevenness and finishing of some products due to the nature of raw materials used does not constitute "manufacturing defect".

    Refunds

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    If you are approved, then your refund will be made onto the original mode of payment after deducting cost of initial shipping (applicable where item was delivered by us @ AED 110 for Dubai and AED 310 for Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah). The refund will be processed within 10 to 20 days depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.

    Late or missing refunds

    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at theatticdubai@gmail.com.

    Sale Items

    Only regular priced items may be returned or refunded. Discounted items will not be accepted for return or refund.

    Exchanges

    If you wish, you can exchange your product for another unit of the same product or another product. If the price of the new product is less than that of your original purchase, the balance will be refunded to you, after deducting cost of initial shipping. Please mention that you would like to exercise this option while emailing us.

    Return Shipping

    To return your product, you should send it to our warehouse in Al Quoz. We can arrange for the transport; however, you will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item.

    Cancellation

    We honor cancellations made 24 hours prior to delivery. However, any cancellation made on the date of delivery shall be subject to a fee of 20% from total bill amount.
